COMING CLEAN

Another tough week but I am so glad to meet J. Hihihi I am not sure when both of us can be this close. Let me think….SERIOUSLY I forgot it. Well it is all in the past. The most important is now. I can share about anything to her. We exchanged "Omayo" every single day and I can not wait to travel together. It will be a blast won't you agree?

We stopped by at independence coffee shop and soon as I arrived, they dug the whole behind-the-scene of my Kinabalu trip especially J! She believed that she'd been fooled by me but only to her, I've ever mentioned that M would be joining me to climb. Sadly she had forgotten and I am not at fault. For the first time, I told them the whole story and I strongly announce that I am not growing feeling towards M and seems like will never be. Okay let's end the M topic because I've coming clean and it's all in the past. hi hi hi~

Last night we had a deep talk. Like what we want in our lives. We - ladies always saying that we only want a "simple" life. It is a subjective answer. As strange as it can be, when we open our "simple" cover, actually we know things we don't like / want.

We discussed for long and closed with none answers. But it stills a good discussion. As usual, J always had fried rice during her visit here.

J claimed those potato lovers' as hers. But it left her a big disappointment because there was so little cheese. ha ha ha~

We never left out Tahu-Pong. Still good just like our friendship. teehee~

WORK ON SUNDAY

I don't like my Sunday because I need to go for work again. It was because of the staff doesn't know how to do a daily report. She always make mistake so I went there to guide her. Just by thinking of it, I'm so tired of it. Where's my private time? After I accompanied my mom to our favorite supermarket, I rushed to work. Later, the boss came and shared some of his visions and worries of this business. Because shortage of staff, the business is progressing slow. He repeatedly telling to jump into this business but I have no courage to start business…yet. He keeps pushing me to the cliff and I'm about to fall now. Will I succeed it? What if I fail? How will he treat me if I disappoint him? Though he always telling me that one needs to become a failure once to gain experience but I am still too afraid of your lifetime sarcasm statement towards me.

Luckily, I finished the work just in time for lunch, since last week, my mom eagerly wanted to try the new Korean restaurant in town - UFC. So we went there, I proudly introduced its spicy fried chicken for my mom and spicy fish burger for myself.  I got my burger and finished them slowly but its fried chicken hasn't come out. Perhaps waiting another couple of minutes, I told myself that that the food will  be served. I could see a great disappointment in my mom's eyes. So I canceled the order and rushed to the nearer cafe - Wak Noer.

I've been to this cafe several times but never had I entered their new section - TWG. Not saying that the other design is bad but I prefer the new one - a homey and quite spacious too comparing to its other. Soon as we were guided to our table, I asked them to prepare Mee Sop first because mom hasn't eaten anything and lunch times has already passed.

I like this chips a lot. Especially after soaked them for some time in its soup.

Though I already had my fish burger earlier *not that great* so I shared this lontong sayur with my mom.

IT TAKES TIME

Each months, I am quite pre occupied with budget marketing plans. There are so many upcoming plans which giving a FREE gifts for our customers. Most of the time, I feel insecure to qualified these proposals. They were handed to me, well written and explaining why their events will gain a double profits in return and "please" sign the proposal. By all means, no matter what, I have no other choice but have to sign the proposal sigh~

Pressure is not coming from there only. Recently, I am in charge in handling a new business which my dad boss wants to do. I'm still lacking in many areas about this business and so does he. He always complaints about this and that. How I should do this and that. Not only I had the swinging mood for the past 2 months, he also has it - throwing tantrums just about every minute every day.

And last Thursday, as I was dealing with customer, the head of warehouse; G - barged into my room and told me that he  gave up his position. I was like huh? of not knowing what has happened. After explaining how he was being treated by the Sales Agents (SA).  I understood how he felt by hearing those harsh words or treatments. No matter how patient a person is, it could be really irritating and will explode one day. But as a mediator, I try to be as neutral as I can be. So I advised him to play along with their games. Don't let the emotion takes control the situation but brain. "One day they might feel how inferior you are. Because you're not easily hooked on their silly game. In the end, they 'll respect you" I told him. I can't believe that those advice came out from my mouth because I'm an emotional type as well sigh.

Like my mom who had failed her Lontong at first, perhaps a little pressure, she nailed it now. Yeah~ I need to learn to deal things with my brain instead of being angry. After angry then realized how stupid and embarrassed for something unnecessarily to be mad of. Now, the question is how long I need to be patient?

DELICIOUSLY ATE MOM'S EFFORT

My mom over excited to serve us her new cooking dish - Lontong. Lontong is a rice based food. Normally people here eat them together with Sate Padang, Tauco or Pecal. My mom wanted to have Lontong pecal for lunch.

This morning, as I was reading morning news, sipping my espresso, she placed beautifully her Lontong on  dining table. From its color and shape, they were really so pretty and alluring. I kept thinking how it would tasted like.

Rushed home and couldn't see a glimpse of my mom's Lontong. Mom told me that she failed making Lontong and intended to give all of them to our pets. But that didn't stopping me to give it a try. Well it is true. It didn't taste like Lontong but hardened rice. I ate them deliciously even though she asked me not to eat them.

W BIRTHDAY

I was celebrating my friends' son's birthday party. I arrive late and missed the birthday anthem. *sorry*
As I reached the venue, everyone has already started to eat. I and my friends had to stand up eating because no seats available.

Most of the foods are Indonesian - lontong, rendang sapi, ikan teri, fried glass noodles. I haven't had this kind of foods for quite some time already.

Mie Sop.

Mini Chili-Dog.

I was quite taken back with this Pulut Durian. I still can't eat durian in a fusion way. ha ha ha~

Marshmallow and Chocolate. This is the most I enjoyed!!! and who wouldn't??!

Another version of eating chocolate with bread puff.

Last but not least, Ice cream to cool you down. No~ don't remind me about diet. Today I failed.

WILD EATING

Not long ago I celebrated CNY, and soon (~march) will have  another ritual ceremony to our ancestors (visiting the cemetery - cheng beng). Just knew it after visited traditional market with the mom yesterday. Families who are abroad will coming back again. Another big dinner again.

These days, the props are getting fancy and fancier. Soon, they might make Burberry, Prada, Gucci, Longchamp etc. Even the mom would asked me which is which is nicer.

Oh~ they do have Gucci wallet *face palm*. Lucky my families are not in that extreme to buy these kind of props.

Later on, my friends came over and together we left for food hunt at Sunggal. I have never been there though it is quite near my neighborhood. Soon as we arrived there, it was so crowded and we had to stand in queue.

Fyi, all of us already had lunch before but…left some space for "snacks" again. uh oh, I'm smelling fats.

Never getting enough, bought some snacks home again. phew~ stomach about to explode anytime soon.

It was too full to sit any coffee shop and drink so decided to go for karaoke which we haven't done it for quite some time already. We are not that good but not really bad either. Okay I am a little tone deaf ha ha ha~

At first, it was a little gloomy because we are not a great singer, picked all those ballads. Haih all heartbroken songs...in the end, I picked some Korean songs to which I don't really master it at all. At least it changed the atmosphere into a brighter.

The highlight was, Whitney Houston's I will always love you. Oh-Ho! low average singers to sing that song????? you would never want to imagine it. HA HA HA~

It was dinner time as we wrapped up our terrible concert.  Went to Chinatown [Jl. Selat Panjang].

Now, calculating how much calories do I have in a day??? oh my~ seems like I need no food a 7 days.

BYE DIETS HELLO GREASY FOODS

Saturday also have to go for work and Today, I must have been bang on my head. I got up from bed 5.30 a.m, had my breakfast (2 pieces of cookies and "Valunto" espresso) doesn't sound like a breakfast ya...Later on, I got ready myself for work. It was only 7 a.m, when i left home; decided to buy another cup of coffee *AGAIN* at Dunkin Donut. Looked at the fresh baked donuts, I was tempted to buy but already had my so called breakfast.

Thanks to the mom who had bought these old fashion snacks home. It's been a while since I had them (already forgot when was the last time I had them).

Kue bola with gula melaka innards. It's sweet but not that sweet. Heavenly delicious.

Fried Banana. Though I prefer Steamed Banana but it tastes great after long time not eating the fried one.

LEMPER AYAM

I never really care about my health lately. I shouldn't eat too much of glutinous rice due to mild gastric.

I bought them when I visited Binjai *pretty late ya~*. Sadly it turned out not really that good. Perhaps I refrigerated them for quite long he he he~

Highlight of the day : I was surprised by the dad's call who is apparently on his business trip. Told me that his flight which I bought was invalid *SHOCKED* how it could be happening!!! At the end, it was his mistake to inform its booking code *Haaaaaaaaa.......ihhhhhhhhh had a slight heart-attack*

LEMANG WITH MUCH CARE

These days, the Dad seemed to put lots of care towards me. It must be hurting to see one of her daughters who used to be the most active in house; has become drastically quiet. I truly sorry towards my family.*promise will overcome all my problems and be noisy in house again*

This morning he bought Lemang (glutinous rice in bamboo) which one of my favorite foods. Hahaha~ actually I eat about everything. No wonder I gain weight that easy.

WANNA BUY MY YOUTH

I was invited to my niece's 17th birthday. *Happy sweet seventeen~*. In the same time, I was lending a hand to be her freelance photographer. It was my first time and don't know if she would like my amateur results *cross fingers*

As I was taking photographs of the party, overheard the 17-year-old conversation and observed the way speaking of theirs; made me giggled. I've been like that too - I'm already 17 and telling the parents "hey, it's my life". Let me decide what I want. I am an adult now. Now I could see how innocent I was back then. I would say 17, is the beginning to learn about the real world.

It was a buffet party. [clockwise] Barbecued chicken, Rendang sapi, Dendeng Ikan, Gado-Gado, and some salted fish chili chips with peanuts.

Rojak as dessert but I had no chance to eat it because of on duty taking photographs *now I want it~*

A must have food during birthday - Fried noodles. Happy Sweet-Seven-Teen Madeleine - may you cherish your youth and your dreams~

Off to sleep now~
