Mt. Kinabalu [17-18 December 2011]

Finally!!! The long overdue task, I have successfully completed it. Climbing Mt. Kinabalu certainly is not an easy job. You need PATIENCE. No matter how weak, anybody could have reached at top. It does not really matter if you are taking too much time. Everyone who has been up there will know you are a STRONG person.

 

 

 

 

 

It was even harder to get down from mountain. I have a very weak knees.

Cahaya Baru

Whenever I longed for Indian foods, Cahaya Baru is the only option I could go for it. Aside from its flavors, the price is very friendly too.teehee ^^

 

I really like the innards of Masala Dosei - IDR 13K. It was not a potatoes but one of the kind. Recommended

 

It was a little too wet for my taste buds. Chicken briyani - IDR 19K.

 

 

Mutton Fried Rice - IDR 17K

 

Garlic Naan - IDR 10K

 

Pallak Panner - IDR 17K. Spinach cooked with cheese.

 

Chicken Curry - IDR 22K. Very thick flavors. Recommended.

 

Curry to go along with Garlic Naan. I prefer the chicken curry.

Penang Siew Pao

 

That's so kind of Eva and Effie to buy me some siew pao from Penang. Actually, I demanded them to buy if they wanted me to pick them up from airport to home hahaha.

The size is a little too big and the fillings is overload. I almost choked myself eating it as breakfast this morning. The sauce is very juicy though. Still Seremban Siew Pao holds #1.

Fusion Bistro

It's getting confusing every time the Mom is on vacation. My restaurant list is limited. In a week, I could go back to twice for the same menu. Very pathetic indeed. Since it's Saturday which is no busy hustle at work so I could spent more hours outside and visited Fusion Bistro.

I had Chicken Focaccia (IDR 50+) for lunch. Overall is alright except for its over fried fries.

Today I had hot coffee, plain sweet potatoes porridge and eggplants.

This restaurant is one of my top list whenever the mom is away for vacation. It serves a home-cook dishes which the portion is just right to my tummy  (petite).

Another Korean snacks to review. Not sure why it used "Dr. You" .Anyway, the bread looks tempting when I went through Gmarket. and it still looks tempting as I was about to take a bit. The bread is not "Bake" but "Steam".

Can you 'feel' the moist? hahaha

Yup, definitely moist!^^

For the second one, it was a little dry and hard for my taste.

Look how hard and firm the bread is~ totally not one of the good bread.

I can't imagine myself to finish them (20 pieces) myself before they all gone bad. T_T

Steamed Banana

Good morning~ it rained pretty heavily last night and I was awaken by the big thunder at dawn. Medan is gloomy but with lots of mild wind. I love this kind of weather. It's neither too hot nor cold ^^*. Another good thing is that Steamed Banana is served by my dad. Steamed banana is one of my favorite breakfast.

 

it doesn't seems appealing? but it tastes so good....and healthy!!!

Usually I put some chocolate syrup and chocolate rice to maximize its flavor. Though the banana itself already has a great flavor but....I'm a chocolate addict.

The innards is so moist. nyam nyam...I could eat these bananas for the whole day. Oh yeah...it's better served while hot and.

 

Healthy breakfast isn't it? heehee

Market O REAL BROWNIE

Online Shopping is addictive. Recently I bought some snacks from Gmarket. All the items are in one package. The price is a little bit pricey (IDR 350.000 including oversea shipping) but the snacks seem so tempting and I could not resist them. Less in 2 weeks, TADA!!! they arrived in my house ^^*

I think I'm going to gain fat real soon though all the snacks are guaranteed as a low-fat. (I really need to exercise twice more harder than usual T_T) 

Do you need a translation of its history? haha even myself do not understand Korean that well. In one box; there are 4 brownies. Though they were packed in a different design packaging, its content is the same.

Normally Brownie has a distinct sweetness, that's the reason I always have either a cup of unsweetened Americano or Green Tea. Surprisingly, Market O is not that sweet ^^.
